Truth Matters – Resurrection as a Lifestyle
What sets the Christian faith apart is not only the promise of life after death, but the reality of new life now. Other belief systems may speak of what happens after death, but the Gospel of water and the Spirit declares that believers can begin living the resurrection life even while still in this body. Christ lives in His people today. This means the power of the resurrection is not limited to a future event—it is a present experience, available every moment to those who are truly born again. Today, I want to lead you through three key truths from Scripture that show us how to live this resurrection life.
Family Matters
From the beginning of Scripture, we see that family is God’s design. God Himself established them as part of His perfect plan for humanity. Yet from the moment sin entered the world, Satan has been working to distort and destroy what God created. The enemy knows exactly what he is doing. When families weaken, the church is also affected, because strong families form the foundation of a healthy church and the next generation. Today, I want to share three important areas that help us understand how to protect and strengthen our families: the attacks on family, the need for Spirit-filled families, and the pressures of parenting.
Money Matters
Today’s message focuses on a very practical area of accountability: “Money”. Money touches every part of our lives—our work, our families, and even our spiritual walk. While the world constantly talks about rising costs, economic uncertainty, and financial pressure, the Word of God teaches us how to handle money with wisdom and faithfulness. The goal of this message is not to promote prosperity or poverty, but to understand God’s heart about money and our responsibility as His people.
Ordinary Church with an Extraordinary Lord
The Church is not a building. It is not a facility or a consumer space where people visit anonymously. It is the body of Christ. He is the Head and we are His body. We cannot claim to have the Head without the body. There is no such thing as a personal relationship with Christ but disconnected from His Church. The Church is where we live, move, and have our being. It is where God sustains us and keeps us until He brings us home. If we belong to Him, we belong to His body, the Church of God. When accountability to the Church weakens, it exposes deeper issues in our spiritual life—issues we will uncover in today’s message.
