Family Matters
From the beginning of Scripture, we see that family is God’s design. God Himself established them as part of His perfect plan for humanity. Yet from the moment sin entered the world, Satan has been working to distort and destroy what God created. The enemy knows exactly what he is doing. When families weaken, the church is also affected, because strong families form the foundation of a healthy church and the next generation. Today, I want to share three important areas that help us understand how to protect and strengthen our families: the attacks on family, the need for Spirit-filled families, and the pressures of parenting.
Pursuing Spiritual Completeness
As we start the new year, God is setting a clear direction for the church and for every elects in NCCkl. Our Theme for 2026 “Present Everyone Mature” is not merely a theme or a slogan—it is God’s call for the growth and maturity of His church. It speaks of God’s purpose for our lives and His desire for every believer to grow, mature, and be firmly established in Christ.
Mercy Endures Forever
This message, titled “Mercy Endures Forever,” brings us back to the heart of the Gospel. It reminds us who we were before Christ, what happened when God’s mercy appeared in our lives, and how that same mercy continues to shape the way we live each day as God’s redeemed people. As we turn to Titus 3:3–8, we will see clearly that salvation is not a reward for the righteous, but a rescue for the ruined—accomplished entirely by God through the finished work of Jesus Christ, revealed in the Gospel of the water and the Spirit.
Mercy Personified
Today’s message continues that journey by bringing us face to face with mercy personified in the person of Jesus Christ. This truth is powerfully revealed in John 8:2–11, a familiar yet deeply revealing passage of Scripture. In this account, a woman caught in adultery is brought before Jesus, publicly shamed and condemned by religious leaders. Yet the focus of this passage is not her sin, but Jesus’ response, through which the true nature of divine mercy is revealed.
